If you can get your hands on a REAL vintage Tele, you are doing yourself a great favor. I'm not into the Re-issue versions. A Tele from the fifties or early to mid sixties is what you want. Butterscotch is always nice. I love the sound and feel of a Tele. I currently have a '65 Butterscotch and I just picked up a G&L Tele. (George and Leo were the founders of Fender Guitars before it was sold to CBS.) If you cant find a good vintage Tele, I STRONGLY suggest you try to play a G&L Legend series. You will not be dissappointed.

Good luck!!!
