Well they definitely don't have to. they need to have something on or they won't have anywhere to stick the money. unless you want them to stick it in "that" place. I think Strippers would get more money if they were nude and right up in someone's face.
I also think that strip joints would be more willing to hire someone who's willing to take it all off.

there are only certain places that allow nude dancing, there are plenty that dont, you will just have to call around your area and check im guessing.

strippers these days take off everything. Why doesn't your friend go to a stip club and see what is going on. Its a pretty sleazy friggin business for a woman to get into.

A lot of states (VA for example) require at least a G string and pasties. Some are even more restrictive as to what can be taken off.

there are different types of clubs.some are total nude clubs -some are just breasts-titty bars if you will.
No u dont have to take off all your clothes but if she really wants to be a striper it might help. And some Stripper clubs dont even want the strippers to be fully naked. Also she start with a lot of clothing then work her way to the lingerie on stage so it won't get so boring. the audience will get more excited each time she take a item off

depends on the policy of the strip club...tell her to look around at the different strip clubs to get an idea of what they do or do not wear.

I agree, this is an odd question. Most strippers do NOT dance completly nude but will tease the crowd by slowing taking off her outfit, mostly not exposing her " Love down South" just her "Northern Goodness". If your friend gets a job in new york, there is a chance that she will be asked to take off her panties or whatever. To answer your question on lingerie, most strippers wear it, sometimes under a sexy outfit of some sort.
I don't think its necessary, if she feels unconfortable they don't have to force her, she can just wear somethin seductive like a birthday suit or somethin close to it, but I agree.
This generally depends on the local laws. Strippers are expected to take off everything they can legally peel. I'm afraid that if your friend isn't familiar with the industry even as a customer that she probably won't fare well as a stripper. She'll have to be prepared to be around a lot of alcoholism and drug use even if she isn't into that herself, and the drug use is a symptom of the objectification and sexism associated with the job. Taking off the last scrap is just the tip of the iceberg.
There may be some dance or burlesque performances she can get involved with instead.

they must at least show breasts and panties are usually optional. and it is also Dependant on the state and county they live in and their laws.
no she has to be completely nude. well she starts off clothe then works her way to completely nude. strippers that dont go completely nude dont make much. and most of the time ends up getting fired. this is in california btw.
Different strip clubs will have different rules. Some will want full nudity, some will be happy to let their girls keep lingerie on.

There are also jobs available as waitresses at strip clubs where you don't have to take off your clothes but you do get the really generous tips that guys give.
She'll need to audition if she wants to be a stripper. She will need to be prepared to dance in front of the manager. She should also come prepared with a stripper name. Make sure before she takes the job the place has good security.
