Question: Let's go through a list of who it could possibly be...
RHCP - Playing a show that night already
Linkin Park - Nothing scheduled, and has a new album...Good candidate, Not sure if they have played Toyota Center though
Velvet Revolver - In Australia that night
Alice in Chains - One show 3 days after BuzzFestivus 3, but have never played Toyota Center
Incubus - Not scheduled for November, December, and January
Foo Fighters - No shows in December yet
Anyone I may have left off?
So from this list, it could be Linkin Park or Foo Fighters. I heard Foo Fighters was playing small venues to get ready for a big tour a while back. But I don't think they have played here since Toyota Center has been here. Linkin Park has a new album and is playing here and there right now. Plus they are playing a small semi-acoustic show the day before.
If I were a betting man, I would say LP.

No sweetie.. but I'm getting my tickets this friday, I know they will be announcing it on friday
Last I heard, the announcement won't be until after the show is completely sold out (shouldn't take long). All I know is that they said whoever it is has sold out the Toyota Center, the Woodlands Pavilion, and someplace else I can't remember. I'm assuming it's someone pretty big.
