M*A*S*H fans?!
Question: ok, so most of friends are obsessed with the Hills, Laguna Beach, etc. I think those type of shows are complete BS (srry if i offend). I swear, i am the only person in my whole SCHOOL who loves, let alone has even seen, the show MASH. do any other high school age girls out their like it, or am i a loner? it is my fave show, and my my aunt and uncle like it too so they are the only people i talk to about the show.
ok, so i have confidence and all that jazz, but i feel like an oldies-loving freak. I also hate rap and most modern music; my ipod is stuffed with 60's-70's-80's songs, most of which my friends say eww to.
and i always feel as though ive really missed out on something by not being born/living in the 60's 70's /80's, and i like everything from that time period (shows, music movies etc)
hmmm....how weird am i?

Different ? Yes! Weird? No!
You exert the classic signs of a very intelligent and most likely.., artistic individual.
The programs of which you speak are not the ones filled with the yelling, screaming, slapstick type humor.
(Well..., some of the later MASH episodes are..., The ones with Colonel Blake and Trapper John are hilarious).
Regardless..., don't let others make you feel weird just because you appreciate things they do not understand.

Fun M*A*S*H story.
I went to college and in the dorm that I was in there was this large common room that people in all of the dorms would share. It had a TV. I got there and no one was watching TV. I changed channels till I found M*A*S*H. It was right at the beginning. A few minutes later a group of people wandered in. They all were telling me to change it and that it was a stupid show and that it was boring and that it was not funny. I responded that I was there first and they could change it after the show was over. Ok. That worked for them. Well, there was another episode on after the one that I was watching. No one wanted to change the channel. Soon, every night, there would be a group of people who would rush to get into that room so we could watch M*A*S*H. Every now and then, a person would show up and ask "Why are you watching this?". The person would give some of the reasons the first group used but we were the M*A*S*H group. We would not change the channel. Sometimes we would get new converts because they wandered in and actually watched an episode of M*A*S*H.
