Question: ive just won a small dog.he / she / it seems very thirsty but what do i feed her/him/it to drink? he/ she /it/ likes puddles but its not raining yet.

Oh Dont let them drink from a puddle they can get sick from all the crap in that water. Let it drink ONLY fresh clean water. Does not sound like you should have a dog though. You are feeing it food though right? Like dog food not human food?
Water. If you don't know what to give a dog to drink, maybe you shouldn't have a dog.

Second, water is the only thing it should be drinking.
Third, how do you know it likes puddles if it hasn't rained yet?
