Within Temptation are very good, well i think so anyway!
the ONLY band i know of with a girl singer is the Yeah Yeah yeahs. i dont know paramore so idk if they are similar.. but they have a beautiful song called Maps.
I don't really know who paramore are, I've heard a bit of them but here are some of my favourite female fronted acts.
Try....Hole, Tegan and Sara, The Breeders, CSS, Blondie. You might like the Distillers too, very punky.
