How closely does the Broadway show "wicked" fallow the book wicked?!
Question: Not at all. While no movie or play can follow a book exactly, this is by far the furthest ever. Dont get me wrong, they are both excellent! I can not stress that enough. But wow, are they differnet. The only thing the same is the names, and Elphaba's main conflict.The details of the conflict are compleetly differnt, but whatever. Fiero is the most different. I would recomend both, they are both excellent pieces of work, however, dont go into one, expecting it to be like the other. Oh, and if you havnt read the book yet, force your way through the first section, its a tough read, and an Acid trip on top of that, but after that it calms down emensly, and it all (well at least mostly) makes sence.
