Where do I start to getting into making electronic music?!

Question: I have always listened to drum and bass, trance, but recently got a lot more into it. I really like Paul Van D. Benny Benassi, Felix Da Housecat etc......I am just curious where I should start with some beginning stuff. Is there specific software i need to get? Thanks for the help.

you can start with virtual dj [virtualdj.com]
if you like it then get turn tables and better software.
I'd recommend Turn Tables and a mixer...but it can get expensive specially if you don't end up liking it
