What's the best way to smash a guitar?!
Question: Well, it's not a guitar, it's more of a ukulele, and I get to destroy it for a drama performance. By the way, it has no sentimental value, and was like 7 bucks at Tijuana. I want to know so I don't seem pathetic by not being able to break it.

Grasp it by the head and bang it against anything hard such as a wall or floor. Or if you want a little humor, throw it to the floor and stomp on it.

Turn it side ways, and slam it onto the ground with as much force as possible. Practice smashing other stuff before you do the performance.

Lift it high over your head and pound it into whatever is handy. Wall, floor, amps the lead singer, whatever! Just do it with gusto and flourish!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe do it in rhythm with a song! Look at some old Who concert video, or some punk bands from the 80's. Have fun!!!

get angry and use all of your strength. don't think too much just kill the hell out of it. grab it by the neck and swing HARD! AND THEN STEP ON IT!!!
Smash the body. The neck will not break easily. Hit the side against something blunt that has about a 90 degree corner. If you hit it leading with the flat side, it will not create the shattering effect you are going for.
