HELP!! Ticket fraud?? JAY-Z Concert 11-11-07, NYC, Hammerstein Ballroom--?!
Question: I have been desperately trying to purchase these tickets today, but they sold out in a matter of less than 2 hours!
I have ben contacted by a gentlemen through craigslist.com that says he has 2 tickets he will sell me , and that I can pay via paypal.
Is using paypal a way to ensure I get the tickets? or could he be scamming me?
Also, he said he purchased the tickets a couple weeks ago, but as far as I knew, they only went on sale today... Is it possible he actually did purchase them two weeks ago?
Please help me with advice. I have never before purchased anything online from an independent person and am a bit wary.

*I'd be very careful using your credit card on line for anything.*
Paypal is suppose to be safe....I certainly wouldn't do it.
I would check a few things out first anyway. He sounds as if he is spinning a tale to me. If tickets went on sale today, how on earth did he get them 2 weeks ago. I'm sure you can verify this.
Mind you, even if paypal is safe, there is no guarantee that you will get the tickets. Check everything out, even paypal.
