Question: If rock and roll currently is the leading genera, with hip hop trailing behind, what will happen in the future? Any theories?

I'm pretty sure music will eventually lose words, and just have beats. Like techno.

I don't really think the future of music can be predicted. I say so because with all the people who create music and all their new ideas and inventive ways to create it, anything can go.
I guess hip hop goes bye bye and rock and roll go hi hi. In the future songs will change.. like from the period classical to romantic. ( classical was more heavenly music and romantic was verydramatic)
