Next Line?!
Question: I cant think of a next line to my story. I am 11 yrs old and I am in fifth grade. This is a story to share with my class. I want it to be very scary.
here is the start.
The thunder rattled the sky. The wind started to howl. Suddenly it went dark. Ben and Ali were all alone in the cold dark house. They heard a knock at the door. "I better go get it. It might be dad with some more candles." said Ben. "NO! DON'T OPEN THE DOOR!" cried Ali. Ben's hand grew nearer the door. "NO! BEN DON'T! JUST DON'T OPEN THE DOOR!" "Fine i'll look through the peep hole." he said as he looked through the tiny hole. He saw nothing. He opened the door. "Hmmm...weird. Must have been a branch or something." he said. " But branches scrape or scratch or something." said Ali. "Well what do you think it was?" he asked. " I don't know, let's go back upstairs." said Ali. "Ok" replied Ben.
I can't think of anything to go next. Can someone help me? Any ideas?

As they headed back upstairs they heard a knock on the door again. Ben says "there it is again" as Ben and Ali debate on whether or not to answer it the banging gets louder and louder. Both terrified, they run upstairs to their parents room looking for the phone to call 911. As Ben dials the number, Ali hears footsteps coming up the stairs. She franticly tries to tell Ben that there is someone in the house. Ben unable to get a dialtone tells Ali to lock the door. All of a sudden it gets quiet. Ben and Ali go to the door to peek out to see if anyone is out there. Not seeing anyone they both begin back down stairs, Ali looked back at Ben and noticed a shadow behind him and screams Run Ben He's behind you. They run down stairs and-can't think anymore-Sorry
