Disco was in the 70's. Probably reached it's height in 1977 with Saturday Night Fever and was dead by 1980.
I've been a semi-pro muscian (and guitar builder) since the mid '60's. I love Robert Johnson, Lightning Hopkins, John Lee Hooker, B.B.King, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Tony Iommi, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Bee Gee's, George Jones, etc. I love almost all music and play almost all music. I shy away from music snobs. There are 12 notes in a musical scale. On this planet there are 6 billion different ways to interpret them. Who am I to say you are wrong, or anybody else?
