Did you know that songs are just poetry that someone worte to something completely different and added music in the background? First you sit down after a long day and maybe write a poem a day. It can be about ANYTHING. then find a tune that seems to match. just whistle it or think it in your mind. stuff like that. now interpret that music into reality. Start distorting it and changing notes and soon ya got yourself a song!

-Keep a thesaurus handy
-Learn to play on the words
-Don't always try to rhyme
