I think you will find that improper grammar and poor spelling
is epidemic right across the world. It drives me crazy and yes it does scare me. I think that some people can't help it , others are just incredibly lazy .

a lot of times, it has more to do with the speed at which someone is typing... rather than the inability to spell correctly.
