my neice whos like turning 11 on october 20 needs a present from me! i dont know what 2 get her, give me some ideas, or links from a store would be even better! do something mature, but besides ipods and wiis and nitendo ds and a cell phone.

Some nice smelling perfume or lotion. a cute pair of earrings or a personalized necklace or ring, or just jewelry in general is very sincere and sweet lol My daughter is 10 and beginning to like the mature things like clothing and body sprays. She also likes to wear necklaces. You could put together a basket of items from Claire's with hair accessories & earrings, and then head to bath and body for some bath fragrance. Throw in a pre-teen magazine like Tiger Beat. Another idea would be concert tickets. well, it depends if its a girl or a boy..........watch, shirt, pants, shoes....... Clothes or jewelry (sweaters and scarves would be nice for winter). =) Does she have pierced ears?
Earrings and other jewelry can make a nice present, and don't have to be too expensive.
Or you could give her a subscription to a magazine, like Cosmo girl.
Making a beauty set can also be fun, just fill up a goody bag with stuff like facial masks, body lotion, bath fizz, stuff like that. I don't know what type of girl your niece is, but mine loved girly stuff like that at that age.
If she or her parents have a dvd player you could give her a movie. I know you said mature, but even adults like Shrek for example ^_^, movies with the Olsen twins also seem like the type of thing girls that age would watch. A DVD of her favorite TV series could also be an option.
Does she like to read? maybe you could ask her parents if there's a book that she'd like to have, or simply step into a bookstore and ask them if there is a book that's particularly popular with young girls. They would probably be able to give you an idea.
