Fun Careers?!

Question:

Fun Careers?

I'm interested in a career were I'm not attached to a desk for 12 hours!! Working on computers I'm setting at a desk for hours. I recently got a job at a MAJOR media company and find the work to be boring and unimportant. I want a career were I can make a difference and see my work first hand. I was thinking about an architect but after the building is created, I'll be out of a job. Even though I've always been fascinated by the size and presence of large structures. Also a little recognition would not hurt.

P.S. I don't mind getting my hands dirty either. I was thinking about a construction manger, or a intelligence agent or U.S. Marshall. The work does not have to be physically challenging just fun and active.

What do you think?

Answers: Work is only fun for a little while, at least for me. When you do the same thing day in and day out it tends to get boring and monotonous. If you are looking for something that changes a little every day why not try something like an EMT? They never do the same thing two days in a row and you could get recognition. Plus you get the appreciation of the people you help save. If you have a week stomach then try something like a construction for-man. They do different jobs everyday, but the recognition may not be readily available.

EDIT: EMT earn about 30,000.00 a year while construction managers earn about 80,000.00 a year. Just thought that might help. Source(s):
