why the heck is everyone labling eeryone who has a punk or metal style emo?
emo is not a style its a type of music and half of the ppl saying the ppl are emo listen ot that kind of music just dont know its called emo or whatever...
nobody has the right ot label someone when they dont even know them or have enough information. I get called emo id say everyday but a kid that dresses just like me but for some reason he thinks its alright to call me emo.
im not all emontional
who has been in this stiuation, what should i do, who argrees with me that no one has the right to lable some one else?

Answers: Ugh I TOTALLY agree. It drives me insane when people do that!! I honestly haven't seriously been labeled before, my friends have joked about it, but I'm pretty much considered "normal" if not somewhat mental. But people seriously need to get over that. Labeling someone doesn't make you cool, it just makes you a poser. Geez, I just can't stand people sometimes.
As for the whole advice thing, I'd say just punch 'em in the face, but that's probably not the best advice...idk, I don't think I can really help. There's not much you can do, labeling is just part of the "high school experience" and you really aren't gonna escape it until you're into your college years, maybe later. Even if you got that person to stop, someone else is gonna say the same thing. People suck, don't they? Gotta love 'em =) I agree with you. People are too hung up on gossip and comparing themselves to others, and eager to find a label. You will experience this problem for the rest of your life. All you can do is get over it. People are stereotypical and they don't care. People will say what they want when they want. No matter how many people disagree. i agree 100%
people only label others because they either don't have anything better to do, or it makes them feel better about themselves.
