What is your stand on music piracy?
I, personally, support music piracy. I want to know your opinion, however.
Answers:
It actually ticks me off that they've charged individuals with downloading music. Number one, because if its illegal shouldn't it be the download programs that are targeted? And besides that, I remember before cd's when we had cassette recorders. I use to wait till a song came on the radio that I liked and recorded it. Nothing was said about that then.
I don't see how targeting the consumer helps these bands anyways. I know the reason I use to download was because I didn't want to waste my money on a cd with only one good song on it. But if the bad comes out with several good songs, and especially if I really like them, I'll support them by buying their cd's.
Maybe some people consider downloading "stealing" but I don't. The download sites that provide that service are the ones that should be targeted if someone has a problem with it. Not the people who take advantage of a free song.
