Ok, here's the thing, my sweet sixteen is approching and I have no ideas what to do. I need some party ideas (themes and favors and what not) that are inexpensive but will still wow my friends and family. I really want this to be the greatest party I can through with a small budget. Thanks!

Well, your sweet 16 is all about you, so pick out things that you love and make a theme out if it. It can just be a "you" theme.
It really depends how far you want to go. I think a really cool favor are the disposable digital cameras. That way, your friends can take really fun pics of the night, and you'll have tons to look at for a scrapbook or even one of those flicker things.
Just get some music going and the entertainment is totally there.
One of my favorite things was going to party city and buying the cute cocktail glasses. You can make mocktails (look at these recepies http://cocktails.about.com/od/mocktailmo...
And decorate the glasses, or make it so people can decorate thier own.
You can usually get 20 for around 10 bucks or so, theyre plasic so you have to be careful.
pretty much, the people entertain themselves.
You can set up the dress code, everyone (excluding or including you) has to wear a black dress, or go for a 1920's look.

Oh here's one more. You could buy a bunch of those masks for a masquarade and let people decorate thier own....it would even work for a marti gras theme.
