Ok simple guitar question! can u help?

ok i am only a 13 year old girl TRYING to play my acoustic guitar but i have tryed one book and it didnt help because i need very very detailed book...any idea of names of books or videos that arent that exspensive......i wish i could have a teacher but my parents cant afford me to have one and we have none at skewl......HELP!!!

p.s. if u kno also any websites!!!!!!!!

I used the Hal Leonard Guitar Method books (there are 3) when I first started out. They were really easy to follow and it increased in difficulty at the perfect pace. It was $7.75 for the first one, $12.95 for the second and $13.50 for the last. These all include cds so that you can play along and tune your guitar to the cd. It's a fairly general book, teaching many different playing styles so that you know what type of music you'll want to play after you're done with the method books (ex. jazz, rock, blues, country). I hope this works for you.
