Summer Blues...?

I live in Kalispell, MT. For the past couple months my parents have let me go to Bigfork for swing dancing every Saturday night, so I can hang out with all my friends. Now, they've decided that I'm not allowed to go until tourist season is over, meaning I'm not allowed to go AT ALL this Summer! they said that the druggie college kids are back, and there are so many tourists, that they want me to wait until everyone goes back home...
I think it's soo unfair, because now I have absolutely nothing to do with my friends this Summer. Everyone else will be having a great time in Bigfork without me, while I sit at home sobbing be cause my parents are so stupid. I want to find an alternative for all my friends to do instead, but they like dancing too much, and would never leave...
Does anyone out there live in Montana, and if so, what are some things to do here? I've looked in every MT magazine, and searched online for stuff to do, but Kalispell is so boring, and there is NOTHING to do here

I know this is probably in the wrong category, but I couldn't find a good one for the question, so I figured entertainment would be fine, since I AM looking for entertainment...

While I can't recommend anything that kids traditionally like to do, you should try becoming more involved in community-centered events...here are some below:

4th of July Parade
Beginning @ 10 a.m. in historic downtown Kalispell. The east parking lot of the mall on North Main Street is a perfect location for viewing the parade.

another idea is doing arts & crafts....lithography, painting, drawing could be a fun way to spend your time...as well as making photo collages with a certain theme...i wish you luck but recognize that summer is a pretty short time and you will be back with your friends soon enough. good luck
