u noe how when ur watching a movie where a character is supposed to be a twin liek the parent trap where lindsay lohan plays herself and her twin sister? well how do they do that i mean how does she hug herself well appears to hug another person. iwas just wodnering

Its all in the visual effects. They have the one actor play both the parts at separate times and just sync the two parts over each other so it looks like there are two of them. In the scenes where they make contact, they usually have of one of them and they edit it so it looks like the real person. Also if you notice in these types of movies, the two "twins" are not in many of the same frames
