I want a pet tarantula really bad ???

how much will one cost? and does it hurt when they bite?,and can you get them without any venom?? and last question,can i carry it everywhere i go?? or does it not like to be handled?

You can get some good common species at a lot of pet stores for not much money. You can spend over 300 dollars for a spiderling of some types but raiseing a spiderling of any species takes a bit of research. I would not recomend this approach until you have some experience. Yes it hurts when they bite. The amount of hurt and discomfort you feel will vary greatly on the particular species you were bitten by, anything from a beesting sensation to chest pains and cramps. NO you cannot get a tarantula without venom or with out fangs. The venom is required for the digestion of it's food and it would starve without it. You should not try to carry one of these everywhere, it is not a poodle. they actually like to be left alone most of the time and some types will dig a hole to the bottom of its home and you might see it once a month. Tarantula's take a certin type of person to want to care for them but they are truly amazeing creatures that vary in all the colors of the rainbow and can facinate people young to old.
