30 years later, which songs still take your breath away?

I have a hard time listening to a recording of the Allman Brothers playing "Tied to the whipping post."

I'm a country boy at heart so I still get in a twist about CCR. I'll be damned if Have You Ever Seen the Rain didn't used to get me all misty when I drank too much.

Funny side note about that is that I had heard once that the song was about artillery raining down. Turns out that's not true and it was only about the band itself according to John Fogerty. Ruined the whole thing for me. CCR Still gets my vote though.
