What's the simpliest way to back up an entire iTunes library?
I need to reinstall the iTunes because it isn't working properly, but I want to back up the files first - in simple form, maybe a CD(?) - before I reinstall the iTunes.

If you have iTunes set to automatically organize your music there is an 'iTunes Music' folder somewhere on your computer that you could just move somewhere else. If iTunes doesn't organize it for you then you can keep it where it is. But to be perfectly honest I don't think you need to do anything with the library, if you just update or reinstall the music shouldnt go anywhere.
