Yes, not to hold payload but as replacement for the ceramic tiles. Instead of multiple tiles and all the problems they cause, they are hollowing out one single tooth that will cocoon the shuttle upon re-entry.

Frankly, the ugliest, toothiest, most disgusting part of the crew has GOT to be Ralph. Ewwwwwwwwwwwww. Any time he's called in to "evaluate" anyone, I think he's got a lot of nerve criticizing anyone. I'd rather spend a night with Baba Booey than Ralph. Ralph is positively horrid.
