Should Sheriff Lee Baca be held in contempt of court for releasing Paris Hilton !

Question:

Should Sheriff Lee Baca be held in contempt of court for releasing Paris Hilton from jail??

Sheriff Lee Baca chose not to uphold the judges' sentence of Paris Hilton to serve jail time. Instead he decided a mini vacation at her mansion was more appropriate since she was crying and had a "rash". She obtained a new fashion accessory called an ankle bracelet to make sure she stays home. Why do we have judges and trials if a sheriff can throw out a sentence? Should the sheriff be held in contempt of court? ABSOLUTELY!!! Should there be a complete investigation of the sheriff's office?? YES! Also, while we are investigating let's do an audit of the "donations" made to the sheriff's dept, benevolence fund, and personal accounts. What do you think?

Answers:

Absolutely!!!! The judge that sentenced Paris wrote on her judgement that she was not to receive any type of leniency. This was the second time that she had violated her suspended license judgement. My only regret is that the original judge did not sentence her to a 6 month term in jail for this violation, anyone else he would have. Also Sheriff Baca needs to be in one of the LA county cells for violating the judges orders. 6 months would be great for him. Oh well, hopefully the voters and taxpayers of LA county will remember his fiasco and help relieve him of his office.
