I play clarinet in Marching Band, Concert Band, and other old-people bands...lol (i'm thirteen)
I am looking for the best brand of WOODEN reeds from serious musicians...I am perfectly fine with a 3 size reed, I just dont know what brand to get it from? Rico?
I am also looking for a brand of synthetic reeds for band camp...I know that they dont have the best of tone, but during band camp I usually end up breaking at least 3 reeds by bouncing them off of my braces or hitting my teeth off of them while I am marching. Does anyone use a synthetic reed? And if so, do you have a reccomended brand???

Answers:
During marching season, you'd probably be good to use Ricos because they are cheaper to replace(reeds get broken easier in marching band). In concert band season, I'd suggest vandoren.
