What do you make Of Paris Hilton's Release?

It is nonsence. This just goes to prove to us that the priveledged membrs of society get away with the law.
She got pulled over for reckless driving, signed a release stating that she was aware she had her license suspended. Next month she's pulled over again and claims she had no idea she had her license suspended. WHAT?

Jail sentence goes from 45 days to 23 days to actually serving 3. Doctors claim she was on the verge of mental collapse and ordered to be put on house arrest. Now she serves time in her luxourious house. What kind of jail punishment is she getting out of this?

I have to admit, I have not heard that she was released. What a blatant misuse of our judicial system. You or I would be doing months of jail time for less. And getting on house arrest is a longer process than that! First, a house arrest anklet has to become available (there are only so many in existence) which usually takes at least one month if not longer, then after paying (which we know "paying" is no problem) for the bracelet and a specified telephone, the suspect has to await another hearing to see if the judge agrees to it, then, after all the paperwork is completed, the house arrest begins. I dont know of anyone who has been able to complete that procedure in less than 30 days! Anyone who has ever done any time is on the verge of SOME type of mental collapse!!!! See what money can buy! I think its a shame, and things like this really give me false hopes about our judicial system working as it was intended. The judge who allowed this to happen should be disbarred. And in the worst case scenario, the little b**** should have been ordered to rehab for no less than 30 days...and not in some luxurious rehab/spa center, but in a REAL rehab with junkies and crackheads and alcoholics DTing.
