In your opinion, where are the best view seats at the Greek Theater Los Angeles?!

In your opinion, where are the best view seats at the Greek Theater Los Angeles?

Wish I could afford or even buy in Section A - Row 1, but -- the show is sold out. I have some possibilities to purchase outside of Ticketmaster (unfortunately for more than face value), but not through a broker -- just can't decide which sets to go with as I've never been to the Greek. Please advise. Thanks!

I sat in the South Terrace there once, and I would NOT recommend it. (Same thing would go for the North Terrace, they're identical, just on opposite sides) From the Terrace perspective, you have a view of the concession/t-shirt area competing with your view of the stage, and you can't ignore it because it is soooooooo much brighter than the stage. It's similar to the effect of trying to ignore oncoming headlights when driving down a dark stretch of road... almost impossible. I have seen a lot of concerts in a lot of venues, and I was actually shocked that such a popular theater would have such an obvious design flaw.

Anything in sections A, B, and C won't have that problem, even if you're off to the side. Of course, if you're in section C, you're pretty much reduced to watching the show on the video screens, but the sound will still be awesome and it beats sitting home wishing you were there =).

In case you don't already have it, here's the link to the seating chart. The concession areas I'm talking about are not shown, but they are on either side of the stage, so I'm sure you can imagine how visible they are from the elevated terraces.
