What are some good magic tricks to do for a simple magic show?

My lil sis is making me do a "magic show" with her.I need some good 10 year old magic tricks.very simple and no jokes or anything you made up or think is funny.

My kids and I just learned this one "mind reading trick". I hope I can explain it clearly.

First you would claim to be able to read some one's thoughts and tell them you can prove it. Cut 6 small slips of paper.

Ask the person to think of a man's name.
Now place your hand over the first slip while pretending to try to read their mind. Then on the paper (where they cannot see what you write) write either black or white.
Crumple this piece and leave it on the table.

Ask them what the name was.
Write it on the second piece of paper, in full view and leave it open on the table.

Ask the person to think of a woman's name.
Now place your hand covering the third piece of paper while looking like you are trying to read their mind. Then write the man's name on it and crumple it up and leave it on the table.

Ask them what the name was.
Write it on the fourth piece of paper, in full view and leave it open on the table.

Ask the person to choose one color, black or white.
Now place your hand covering the fifth piece of paper while looking like you are trying to read their mind. Then write the woman's name on it and crumple it up and leave it on the table.

Ask them which they chose (hopefully they will pick the color you wrote on the first slip of paper - 50/50 chance).
Write it on the sixth piece of paper in full view and leave it open on the table.

Now tell them to open the crumpled pieces of paper. Two of them are sure to have the names they chose and if the trird has the right color you have successfully "read their mind"
