Is there a place where people jam on the internet?

I play the flute , and I play along with the radio a lot.Is there a place where i can play along with other people instead?Which type of microphone would I have to buy?

jamming is another word for improvisation,and can be applied across the whole spectrum of musical styles.Jazz musicians use this a lot of course ,but also regae,Brazilian , Samba ,Cuban music,Blues,and a lot of the new acid jazz ,electronic,and ambiental soundtrack musicians jam.I passed o level music ,and reached grade 7 on my tenor horn as a kid before giving it all up.Sticking with what you know is not always good advice.

Try posting a few videos on You Tube and inviting people to send you videos - some clever wag may be able to put it all together
