What is the value of a Fender "Mexican" Strat?
This guitar is in excellent shape and has been used very little. About three years old.
Answers:
Not much. At a pawn shop, you'd get maybe $50-75. If you sold it individually you could get $150. If you can find a moron and tell them its a "Genuine" stratocaster and not mention that it's mexican made you might get a little more but I doubt it.
Bottom line, unless you invest in quality instruments, you should plan on keeping all instruments you buy because the cheaper ones have horrible resale value. There are many people who buy a $300-$400 guitar, try to learn how to play, then give it up and try to sell it. Just look in your local thrifty classifieds and you will see many.
