Am i considered a racist because i only listen to asian music?
i am not really sure what category it is though
it's kinda stupid but i would like to know what others think about this case. i'm asian (and american) and for some reason, i've grown up to HATE american music. there will be some songs that i like for a few days and just forget about it afterwards. because of that, some people consider that i'm against american stuff. i don't like american music because it's either about killling/shooting, violence, getting laid, etc. whereas most or all asian music is more about expressing how they feel. and i hardly what american shows, i usually watch asian dramas and also, most of my friends are asians who listen to asian music and they hate the point of view and how americans act because they are so selfish and stuff. i dont consider myself a racist. i value my own opinion, i'm just curious.

no. definetly not. If you don't have a problem with Americans, and YOU know that, you shouldn't listen to those other people, tell them they are wrong. But, hearing from you, it definetly sounds like you are NOT a racist. If you care that much about that they labled you as that, you are definetly not racist. that is final....so, no.
