Can i make my pickups sound better?
I recently Bought a Jackson Ke-3 kelly and i like it alot, only problem is, the pickups are kinda beatup and i dont like the sound too well, I really want EMGs on it but i have to save up for those, so in the mean time, how can i make the guitar sound better, without forking over $230 (Kerry king emgs) now., i plan to get those in the future. ( a year or two)

I have a GNX2 and it sounds cool, but i compared it to my other guitars (Ibanex GAX30, B.C. Rich Beast, Jay Turser SG) and it sounded.... not the best. These guitars aren't top quality, so i know its my pickups haha, cuase the guitar is amazing.

two things you can do..wait and get the emgs or get a redeemer..they will boost the gain from the pickup...and also...you could try getting an eq pedal and hooking it up through the effects loop on your amp..do that any way it will give you killer tone..
