Question:
Are these good guitars?
My dad just gave me two of his old one's, i'm not sure too sure of their age, but they are around 10-20 years old.
One is a tele-star electric, and one is a kay bass.
BOth are in good shape though...
Are they any good? i'm just curious.

Both of those guitars were built before 1970. Telestar was built by Teisco in Japan and Kay is a U.S. built brand that folded (I think) in 1971.
They are commonly (and affectionately) known to collectors as "junky guitars".... not that they were necessarily lousy, just that there were millions of them made and sold through places like Sears and Montgomery Ward and KMart.
