I know I will probably catch some flak for this but I really want to know something about the Beatles....?

i agree that alot of their music was good...a few songs I like enough to have on my computer....but really I want to know what the hell all the hoopla was about....I mean most of their music like I Wanna Hold Your Hand...just dont sound all that impressive to me. Maybe I had to be there to get it?

In your opinion listenting to the Beatles now as a this generation music lover....do you think the Beatles were worth all the media hype and fan hysteria? I dont.

Ohhhhh it was all about the times then!! I was a teenager when they arrived on the scene and they were something we had never seen before!! Totally new and original. Added to which our parents hated them - long haired yobs to them!! Which immediately made them even more wonderful in kids eyes. I guess its one of those things - you had to be there!
