I went with a friend of mine to this strip club because she was thinking about working there. I was applying to be their bartender while she wanted to dance. She told them that it was her first time dancing and the manager said that he wanted to see the way she looked in a g string first before he hired her. Is this normal? I opposed to it thinking that he just wants a free show. And now shes mad at me.

Not all clubs require an audition, instead the manager will hire based on appearance.
If you think that's bad, you shouldn't be applying at a strip club.
