Does music have this effect on you?
when you hear a certain song and does it automatically remind you of a specific memory? like for me I hear "hook" by blues traveler and it triggers a memory of sitting in my best friends car on our way to school stopping to get BK in the morning... (whopper with cheese please) does this happen to anyone else... whats the song?... is it a pleasant memory?.... do you want to share the memory?

DC Talk/ My Friend (So Long) - I listened to this on the way to a job interview so it reminds me of that job.
Phantom of the Opera / All I Ask of You - Reminds me of a girlfriend I had in high school, broke my heart. It reminds me of high school in general.
Sophie B. Hawkins / As I Lay Me Down, Adam Ant / Wonderful - Reminds me of the summer I met my wife. They were playing on the radio.
Survivor / Eye of the Tiger - Reminds me of elementary school, it was the first song I ever memorized.
Beatles / Love Me Do - In Junior High School I had a girlfriend and my mother used to play the Beatles at home and it reminds me of this period of time and that girl.
Rent Soundtrack - I'll save that memory for myself (sorry).
Hooked On Classics - My mother used to play this when I was a child, so it reminds me of that time period of my youth when I hear classical pieces that were on that record.

I know there are others, but I cannot think of them at the moment. I will undoubtedly hear a song today that will remind me of some other time in my life.
