Make my own eletric guitar?
what parts do i need to buy? body, neck and pickups, pickguard, bridge, tailpiece, control knobs, pickup selector switch, strings and wires?? am i missing anything? has anyone made their own guitar from scratch before? how hard was it, how expensive did it get, how much time did it take to make, how satisfied are you with it? if you were making one now, what would you do different? i want to make my own fender stratocaster and i'm looking to get rory gallagher's tone (look him up if you don't know him, look for shadow play and tattoo'd lady). any suggestion on parts i should get?

Your local public library probably has books on constructing electric guitars and other electric music devices. Sounds like a great hobby. Best of luck.
