I live in a normal middle class neighborhood and im bored in the summer what should i do?

I always told my kids to volunteer somewhere if they were bored, my daughter volunteered at the animal shelter for 5 summers, and they help with her school tuition now!
You can also organize a day bike trip for you and some friends, pick a spot around 5 miles away to have a BBQ or picnic, and have everyone bring something from home, like you bring sodas, someone else chips, fried chicken( or raw to toss on a grill) etc, you get the idea, ..eat play some games in the park, and bike home before it gets too late.get some friends together to clean up some old or disabled persons yard, have a pizza party later with movies for everyone who helped My kids were smart on this one, they contacted the local paper to ask for people who needed help, AND sponsors, they got free gloves, rakes, flowers to plant, and a local pizza place sent them coupons for 10 pizzas for EACH house they did!
