Cheating their way to fame?!

Question:

Cheating their way to fame?

I'm talking to everyone that agrees. -I'm okay with others' oppinions tho, so feel free to comment- Okay, I personally think that American Idol and T.V. Auditions are cheating to fame. I really love American Idol, but I don't like that if you make it to finals, your audimaticly famous. I like the bands and singers that work their butt off to get to where they are now; example: Green Day (took 4 years to get a recording company and 2 to get first album), Avril Lavigne (18 years of singing lessons and 2 years to get r.c.), The Beetles (5 years to get r.c.), ect. The T.V. Auditions are kind of a cheat too. For example, *know that I have nothing against Hannah Montanna, Im just using her for an example* Destiny Miley Cirus, became famous by auditioning for a T.V. series called Hannah Montanna and became famous within months. I think that's cheating a bit, but that's just me. What's your out-look on this? What are your oppinions?

Answers:

as long as they are talented, it makes it a little more ok. But yeah it is kind of like the easy way out. But the real cheaters are the ones that are just famous because of their last name not because of any talent *cough*ParisHilton*cough*
