Does Prince play air guitar, or does he play his guitar solos?
Every time I've seen him play, it seems like he is playing air guitar. Even in the movie Purple Rain, it was clear he wasn't playing the solo. In the Super Bowl performance here, you can see at the end that he isn't playing the solo (which would also explain the big curtain in the middle of the solo). What is he playing?

I didn't catch the Super Bowl performance, but Prince definitely plays. He's one of the most underrated guitarists, imo.
