Electric guitar..learning to play??
i am homeschooled and they offer a guitar class..but everytime i have a teacher to learn any kind of instrument it makes it harder for me....and i have friends who play guitar, but usually it doesn't work out with people i know tryingt to teach me somethings.....so i am attempteming to teach myself. i have seen some programs that you can use with the computer and your guitar...do you think that would be good for me?...it seems pretty independent....and yes i am willing to practice everyday.. but i have no experience with reading music or anything. can someone point me in the right direction..please help.....!!!!!

then scales
anything to work the fingers, then work on simple songs by ear
