Drum silencers?
I wanna know, do they really work?
I want to get a drum kit, but must convince my mum that silencers work, so does anyone have any experience with them and do they work?
Also, by how much was the sound rediced?
Was it quiet enough so that family and neighbours don't complain.
Answers:
When you use drum and cymbal mutes you will make less noise than someone practicing acoustic guitar, piano, horns, etc.
It will still be audible to others in the house, at least in a adjacent rooms, but your neighbors shouldn't hear it.
The one issue is with the bass drum. They typically don't make mutes for the bass drum so the best way to silence it is to stuff it full of sheets. Then you should be good to go.
