I got robbed at a party... what shud i do?!

I got robbed at a party... what shud i do?

I was drunk last night. and i came back to my bag, which i hid. And it had been emptied, along with my friends.
My phone, wallet with credit cards, membership cards and cabcharges , money gone!!!
no-one has seem anything
what should i do??

Was it a huge party or a semi-small party? Was it the kind that the host pretty much knows everyone that came in and out?

You should talk to the host of the party and tell them that you are really very upset, and that they should talk to all of their friends and even ask for the guest of friends to tell the truth. Let them know that it would be ok with you if they return it anonymously.

Tell the host that this just really isn't cool with you, that you were suppesed to have been in a trusted place.

Don't forget to cancel your cards, and definately call your phone service provider to let them know that your phone has been stolen. then ask them to tell you all of the calls (numbers, times and such) made after the point where you remember making that last call. you can then call those numbers, and figure out who made the calls. like call and ask the person on the other end who they are (the case will be closed if you figure out who the person is right away)...you can even expalin the situation. they might not help you out by ratting out their friend or family, but you can tell them to give the messege that you will be willing to accept your stuff anonymously withen one day, and if not, you are going to contact the athorities to investigate. this will scare them to the point of trying to talk their friend into it (because they won't want to get involved in the whole thing, and they won't want to be questioned by police). You can even try to just get the numbers from your phone service people and just give them to the police right away, so they can figure it out (in case you don't want to get involved at all).

This has happened to me before, and trust me...they WILL make at least one call..they always do. In my case, they made like 5 calls (and one was to mexico, which sucked, because I got charged for it since I had not reported it right away...they charge you for every call until the point when you report it).

You probably won't be able to do ANYTHING about the cash being gone. But at least you can cancel the cards and put a hold on your phone.
