Can I hook up both to one pair of monitoring speakers??
I'm starting to get into music production. I plan on getting the roland mv-8800 and vs-2400cd. Can both the production station and digital recorder hook up to one pair of monitoring speakers? If so, what would be the best way to do it? Is it better to have a seperate pair? Do I need a mixer? Any help would be appreciated!

If you are going to use both at the same time, you will probably want two sets of speakers, but they are easy to connect and disconnect, so I would change between the two if needed. You could also buy a switch that would allow you to plug both devices into the switch and use one or the other. I don't really know what you are doing with these two pieces of equipment, but if you use them right and wire properly, you could possibly use one pair for both, but I would need more information.
