I am interested into becoming a Dj?

Hello, so yeah I am pretty curious on how to be a Dj. I have a lot of songs and stuff and I would like to play at clubs and even make my own music. Its just I have no clue where to begin, what equipment I would need to make music and to play at clubs. And also I know all this equipment is expensive so I want stuff thats affordable as well. So can anyone help me out where to begin?

My dad is a dj but u have to have a permit from ure sit to go into it professionaly (if u want to play at clubs) but u can have an occasional gig here and there. u cant do this all on yourself u need to find a partner . so he can help u buy the equpment and once u save up enough money u can go ure seperate ways (my dads old partner ended up being his best man , so u may want someone u know as a partner)
u cant buy all of the equpment at once my dads been collecting equpment for 15 years and still isnt fully professional . first start up with the basics (mixer,and stereos)
then 10 gigs later u get the smoke stuff and lights. ull be giving up ure saturdays . so it may not be the right time to be in a relationship. my dad took a break from d.j ing when he met my mom♥
