A website that pays you for doing surveys?

Are those scams or is it true?
I might want to try it, but I'm not sure.
It might be dangerous to give your address over the internet.

Thanx everybody. I can't decide for the best answer so I'm going to put this question to vote. =D

It's true, some sites are scams but there are some legit ones too. Try out http://www.lightspeedpanel.com that is one of my reliable sites and they have paid me 7-8 times.

I hope this post helped you realize that not all survey sites are scams and that you should give at least one of these honest programs a try.
